You deserve to be seen.

Somebody’s always asking you for something, and you’re happy to give it. But take this as permission to pour into yourself. You’re a better mom when you fill your own cup.

Not just needed.

As a mom of two young kids, I know how easy it is get lost in the fog of parenting. The busyness of it all can make you forget that you are actually a whole entire person outside of your kids! And that’s exactly why I’m hosting these motherhood mini sessions.

This is more than a few nice photos of yourself. If you and I are anything alike, I know getting a whole photoshoot feels self-indulgent. But this is your chance to show your babies - and remind yourself - that you are more than a snack machine. Give yourself the gift of rediscovery this year. You didn’t lose your spark, you just have to give it room to shine.

Motherhood can make you feel invisible.

Short Session, Long Lasting Results

You’d be surprised what 20 minutes of feeling absolutely beautiful can do for you. Combine that with gazing longingly at the gently lapping waters and you’ll be a whole new person. I can’t promise that you’ll go home to the same serenity, but at least you’ll have visual proof of what you look like when you’re totally relaxed.

Your session imcludes:

  • A 20 minute professional, waterside photoshoot

  • Guided posing and sunbathing

  • Access to gorgeous, flowing dresses

  • 15 digital photos

The Dresses

No last minute panic shopping necessary. You’ll have complimentary access to my client closet.

From Grace:

“It was absolutely fantastic I felt like a legit queen. It was such a safe and wonderful experience.”

Hello,  by the way

We haven’t met yet, but I’m the photographer trying to convince you that your family will not implode if you step away for an hour. I’m a mom to a 6 month old that takes “Velcro baby” to superglue levels, and a 3 year old that’s taller than most 5 year olds. They both take my breath away everyday, but they also make me question my grip on reality. To keep myself sane, I pray, seek Christ, and take photos.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I'm nervous about posing, will you help me?

Absolutely! We'll talk about what body parts you want to highlight or minimize then work through posing from there. Before your session, we'll talk about what physical limitations you have or what poses you may want to experiment with.

  • Do I have to do my own hair and makeup?

Yes, ma'am. I'm currently vetting makeup artists, so I don't have someone dedicated on my team just yet. You do have the option of bringing your makeup artist and having them do your makeup at the studio so everything is fresh.

  • I don't own one of those beautiful dresses, so what should I wear?

Oh babe, I have those pretty dresses for YOU! You can opt to wear one of my featured dresses (for free!) or you can bring your own.

  • What's your policy on payment and rescheduling?

It’s pretty simple actual: Your session isn’t booked until you’ve paid in full (or set up a payment plan through afterpay). If you need to cancel, you’ll get a 50% refund if you cancel more than 3 days in advance. If you cancel 3 days or less before your session, there will be no refunds. Since these are limited sessions, there will not be an option to reschedule.

  • Can you use photoshop to make me look good?

First of all, you already look good. But my retouching policy is this: I will only remove/alter things that you can cover with makeup, that will go away in a week or two anyway, or that a pair of spanx would take care of. Beyond that, I encourage you to embrace the woman you are, not the filtered AI version you might be aspiring to.

  • What the heck is a legacy gift for my kid?

Oh it’s so cute, you’ll love it. It’s a double folio - think of a leather bound folder. When you open it up, one side is an 8×10” photo of you (printed on satin photo paper that brings out the best details). The other side is a letter from you to your children. It’s your chance to tell them all about the you they don’t get to see as often.
